The importance of gratitude

Thanksgiving is nearly here and Americans everywhere are getting ready to celebrate.

For some, it remains a way to show appreciation for the harvest or to a higher power.  For others, it’s a special time to get together with family and friends and enjoy some delicious food!

Whatever the reason, Thanksgiving gifts us time to pause, reflect and give thanks for things often taken for granted. Gratitude is a key trait of the world’s most successful entrepreneurs and leaders and for good reason. People with a high level of gratitude are happier and less stressed because they value what they have – they aren’t longing for more. Find out what Oprah, Warren Buffet and more are thankful for below and be sure to share your appreciation this Thanksgiving.
